About the Artist
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Romano was educated at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and The University of the Arts. His narrative driven, baroque art has been celebrated and sought after in the music industry for the past decade. He has visually branded close to 200 albums by such bands as Mastodon, Chiodos, Trivium, Hate Eternal, Death By Stereo, The Acacia Strain, The Red Chord, Godflesh, Withered, and Dälek, serving collectively as art director, designer, and artist. His influences range from mythology and theology to Japanese woodcuts, World of Interiors Magazine, and human and animal anatomies - an influence that he nurtured while working at the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia. Having achieved commercial success, the prolific Romano is broadening his creative focus on more fine art based works.
